Position – Lead A&P Mechanic (Aircraft Maintenance)
Location: Kingman, AZ

Summary

The Lead A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs while providing guidance and oversight to maintenance personnel. This role ensures all work is completed in compliance with FAA regulations and company standards while supporting team productivity and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair, and inspection of aircraft and aircraft systemsLead and support a team of A&P mechanics to ensure work is completed efficiently and correctlyTroubleshoot mechanical discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actionsPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulationsRead and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering documentsEnsure proper documentation of all maintenance activitiesCoordinate with maintenance control and operations to support aircraft availabilityInspect completed work to ensure compliance with quality and safety standardsAssist in training and mentoring junior mechanicsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesOther duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum + years of aircraft maintenance experience requiredPrevious lead or supervisory experience preferredFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license requiredMust be authorized to work in the United States

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance practicesExperience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentationExperience performing inspections, repairs, and modificationsStrong leadership and team coordination skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced maintenance environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to use standard aircraft maintenance tools and equipmentAbility to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift Compensation $40.00-$45.00
